Event management companies seem to be popping up everywhere, however, not all of them are as good as they claim to be.  It is important that you be able to select a good one for the event you are planning.  In order to do so, you need criteria by which you can gauge each company.

 

Elements for Measuring Event Management Companies

1. How creative are they? It is important to know just how creative the event planner is especially if what you have in mind is out of the ordinary.  Can they take a venue and transform it into an Arabian night’s theme for example? In addition, are they able to work within your budget without necessarily compromising on quality or delivery?

2. Experience is key.  Let them share what they have done in the past.  Look at pictures or videos of some of their work and consider whether they would be able to deliver what you are looking for.  They could also give you referrals of past clients that you can speak to.

3. Quality of service cannot be compromised.  They need to create and present you with a concept for the event, event design as well as the technical production.  For a corporate event are they able to carry out event marketing and PR?

4. Do the event management companies in Delhi have good connections with suppliers and even celebrities that can grace the occasion and provide the entertainment if needed?

5. Are they transparent in regard to the fees that they charge?  It is important that you set your budget firmly and be very clear that add ons are not acceptable.  If there are amendments to be made, especially those that affect the costs, they should be done in writing and approved prior to implementation. This should be clearly stated in the service level agreement.
